Thanks C. People and the planet. AI has benefits in areas like medicine, but if it is controlled by people who are primarily motivated by money and power as now, it is very dangerous.
Just read the introductory paragraph, and it is scary enough. Do you think history keeps on repeating itself and we are too blind to learn lessons from it and keep on repeating the same mistakes in a more dangerous and technologically advanced manner? From bows and arrows we are now using drones and, in the process, destroying many species, flora and fauna and, of course, human beings.

Oh, wow! The ghosts in this story are ALL of the characters as they drift through a world that has effectively killed them. Really brilliant story!

It does feel like that and the sad thing is that we have a choice, we know the dangers of unregulated AI, but somehow money and power always win. 🙁
