Iām a bit of a grinch. It always feels like a lot of hassle for one day.
I just turn into a kitchen slave for a few days, come out for air occasionally then back in there. Itās always a complete blur. Hate it.
That sounds grim. I donāt have much family apart from my husband, so Christmas is a non event - like Sunday lunch but with cranberry sauce!
It wonāt be so bad this year. One of the children is working and the eldest, the one with a family is going to in-laws this year. Iāll have willing helpers for the glorified Sunday lunch.
